ADC Ex-Candidate Slams Wike Over Rivers Crisis

Effiong Nyong, former ADC governorship candidate, criticized the political crisis in Rivers State, accusing Governor Wike of treating the state as his 'personal property'. Nyong alleged mismanagement under Governor Fubara's emergency rule, claiming funds were misappropriated and elections were conducted without due process.

He blamed Wike and his team for undermining the electoral process and warned against reducing Rivers State to Wike's personal estate. Nyong emphasized the need for fair governance and criticized the alleged interference by President Buhari.

The ADC chieftain stressed the importance of upholding democratic principles in Rivers State despite political party affiliations being compromised.
