ADC Warns of Deepening Political Crisis in Rivers State

The Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Leader Sampson, has warned of a potential deepening political crisis in Rivers State despite recent reconciliation efforts. Sampson called for accountability from the Sole Administrator of the state, Vice Admiral Ekwe Ibas, regarding the use of public funds during the emergency administration.

He criticized the reconciliation process as insincere and warned of continued unrest if certain individuals persist in imposing their will on the state. Sampson emphasized the need for transparency in financial matters, including internally generated revenue and federal allocations, to prevent future tensions in the politically charged state.
