Shettima Warns Nigerians Against Supporting ADC

Kashim Shettima, the Vice President of Nigeria, addressed a large crowd at the Gusau Trade Fair Complex, warning Nigerians against aligning with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the lead-up to the 2027 elections. He described the ADC as "empty," asserting that the party has nothing to offer the Nigerian populace and lacks the qualities necessary to effectively govern the country.

Shettima's remarks were made during an event organized by the All Progressives Congress (APC), where he emphasized the importance of supporting a party capable of delivering results for the nation. Meanwhile, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and various governors across the country assured citizens of their safety during a meeting held in the United Kingdom, which also included discussions on modern security interventions.
