ADC Denies Rival Faction's Claims on INEC Portal Uploads

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) issued a statement on Monday, dismissing claims made by Nafiu Bala Gomb's faction regarding the uploading of presidential candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal. The ADC, represented by its National Publicity Secretary Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, asserted that only Atiku Abubakar and Rotimi Amaechi were uploaded as presidential and vice-presidential candidates, respectively.

The party labeled Gomb's claims as false and a blatant lie, emphasizing that INEC does not issue multiple access codes to different factions of a political party. The ADC called for an investigation by INEC into the potential forgery of documents linked to the claims.

They maintained that their leadership is recognized by INEC and that the party is united, urging members and the public to disregard misleading information ahead of the 2027 elections. The ADC aims to present itself as a credible alternative focused on restoring security, tackling the cost of living, reviving the economy, and creating jobs.
