Bayelsa APC Chairman Critiques ADC, Emphasizes Unity

The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State dismissed the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as merely a threat on social media. He emphasized the importance of unity within the APC, stating that both old and new members must collaborate for effective governance.

The chairman noted that the party's leadership, under Governor Douye Diri, should not publicly criticize the government but instead support its policies. He expressed gratitude for the nomination of Pastor Peter Akp as deputy governor, highlighting Akp's character and integrity.

The chairman also discussed the need for a transparent process in resolving disputes within the party at the ward and local government levels, ensuring that decisions are made collectively. He mentioned the importance of consulting stakeholders and maintaining a unified vision for the development of Bayelsa State.
