ADC Announces Timetable for 2026 National Congresses

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has released a timetable for its nationwide congresses in preparation for the national convention set for April 14, 2026. According to a statement issued by the party's national organizing secretary, Chinedu Idigo, and the national public secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the congress process will begin with ward congresses on April 7, 2026, followed by local government area congresses on April 9, and state congresses on April 11.

The party has advised members interested in contesting for vacant positions to obtain and submit the relevant nomination forms through the official ADC website. This initiative aims to renew the party's leadership structure ahead of the national convention.

The ADC has urged its members across the country to actively participate in this process, ensuring adherence to the party's constitutional guidelines and democratic values.
