ADC Backs E-Results for Transparent Elections

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) voiced support for mandatory electronic result transmission by INEC to safeguard Nigerian votes in the 2027 general elections. ADC's National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, highlighted the significance of electronic result transmission in ensuring transparency and protecting voter choices.

Abdullahi emphasized the necessity for a legal framework compelling INEC to transmit results electronically to enhance election credibility. The party stressed the importance of public trust in the voting process and the need for every vote to be genuinely counted for the survival of democracy in Nigeria.
