ADC Suspends Chairman, Deputy, Secretary In Kebbi Over Leadership Disputes

The ADC in Kebbi has suspended its Chairman, Deputy, and Secretary due to leadership disputes. The suspension was announced during a press briefing in Birnin Kebbi by the party's publicity secretary, Jamilu Muhammed.

Muhammed cited a failure to consult the executive before making key decisions as the reason for the suspension. He accused the suspended leaders of allowing politicians from Abuja to dominate the party, which goes against its foundational principles.

The party emphasized a shift back to its core values. Following the suspension, Abdulrazaq Abubakar Isah Iko was appointed as the interim chairman and Adamu Aliyu as the acting secretary to lead the party until a new congress can be convened.

The party also issued a warning to the suspended members to stop identifying as party officials. This development highlights internal conflicts within the Kebbi ADC and raises questions about the party's future direction.
