ADC Instructs Newly Elected Officials to Stay Off Office

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) issued a statement on Friday, cautioning newly elected officials to stay off office until their formal inauguration, which is scheduled for May 12, 2026. The party emphasized that the current leadership remains valid until the transition process is completed.

Abdullahi, a representative of the party, highlighted the importance of this directive to prevent confusion and ensure a smooth transition of leadership.
