ADC Disavows Unauthorized State Congresses in Nigeria

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) issued a statement distancing itself from purported plans by certain individuals to convene state congresses across Nigeria. The notice, signed by Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi at the party's national secretariat in Abuja, clarified that, based on existing rules and a Federal High Court ruling, the ADC will not conduct any congress until the tenure of the current executive expires.

The party urged loyal members to disregard invitations to attend these unauthorized congresses, labeling them as mere machinations by agents seeking to destabilize the party and create confusion within its ranks.
