ADC Confident of Victory in Ekiti Governorship Election

Ayodeji Babatola, the deputy governorship candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed optimism about the party's prospects in the upcoming governorship election in Ekiti State. Speaking in Ado Ekiti, Babatola highlighted the strong public support for the ADC and its focus on a development agenda aimed at improving living standards across the state.

He criticized the current administration led by the All Progressives Congress (APC) for mismanaging public funds and wasting resources, citing the recently completed flyover in Ado Ekiti as an example of such waste. Babatola emphasized that an ADC government would prioritize agriculture, industrialization, and infrastructure development to create jobs and enhance economic growth.

He urged party members to protect their votes and remain united, asserting that the political conditions favor the ADC for a potential victory against the APC and the People's Democratic Party (PDP), which he described as weakened by internal crises.
