Fayose: ADC Needs Peter Obi for 2027 Election Success

Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, expressed that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) will face significant challenges in the upcoming 2027 presidential election if Peter Obi is not included on the party's ticket. Fayose made these remarks while assessing the performance of President Bola Tinubu during a recent PDP national convention held in Abuja.

He indicated that the ADC's chances in the election are heavily dependent on Obi's involvement, suggesting that without him, the party's prospects would diminish. Fayose also mentioned that Obi's political journey is uncertain, stating that it would be impossible for him to return to the Labour Party.

He characterized Obi as a strong candidate who could potentially lead the ADC to success, emphasizing the importance of his participation in the electoral process.
