Adebayo Congratulates Oyebanji on Second Term as Governor

Tope Adebayo, a Lagos-based legal practitioner and Senior Partner at Tope Adebayo LP, congratulated Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his reported inauguration for a second term as the governor of Ekiti State. Adebayo urged the Oyebanji administration to focus on inclusive development and translate public investments into improved living standards.

He described Oyebanji's re-election in the June 2026 governorship election, where he secured 319,224 votes across 16 local government areas, as a significant moment in the state's political history. Adebayo expressed optimism that the renewed mandate would allow the governor to build on existing achievements and address outstanding challenges.

He acknowledged various initiatives by the administration in infrastructure, agriculture, education, healthcare, and worker welfare, particularly highlighting the development of the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport. Adebayo stressed that governance success should be measured by its lasting impact on residents, including improved opportunities for youth and stronger household economic conditions.
