Adeboye Warns Against Chasing Wealth Over Soul: “God Does Not Hate Enjoyment"

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of RCCG, warned Christians against prioritizing material wealth over spiritual well-being, stating that it is an act of stupidity. He emphasized the importance of believers maintaining spiritual discipline and fighting temptations for a victorious life in Christ.

Adeboye also mentioned that God does not hate enjoyment but cautioned against the relentless pursuit of wealth through ungodly means. During the 73rd Annual Convention of the church, he highlighted the need for Christians to live victoriously in Christ.

Adeboye commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for rewarding the victorious 10th Women Africa Cup Nations team, stressing the importance of recognizing the efforts of coaches and technical officials. He emphasized the role of strategy and wisdom in achieving success, stating that without tactical input, players may not be able to secure victories.

Adeboye urged Christians to resist spiritual opposition and fight for their divine right to healing, prosperity, fruitfulness, and long life.
