Adekunle Gold and Olamide Release "Fuji Xtra" Collaboration

Adekunle Gold has launched "Fuji Xtra," marking his first collaboration with Olamide, which leads a five-track deluxe edition. This release is available on streaming platforms and is accompanied by a live orchestral experience, although details regarding the date and venue are yet to be confirmed.

The deluxe edition adds five new songs to the original album format, including tracks titled "Shake," "Shake," and "Blue Fire," along with two solo records, "Life" and "Faaji Wiser." This collaboration is significant as it formalizes a partnership between the two artists, who have a notable history, with Olamide having signed Gold to YBNL Nation in 2016. Gold's sound is rooted in Lagos's percussive rhythms and is described as a fusion of Fuji and Afropop.

His catalog spans nearly a decade, with his debut album entering the Billboard World Album Chart at number seven in 2018 and earning a Grammy nomination for Best World Album.
