Adelabu Apologizes for Nigeria's Poor Power Supply

Adelabu, the Minister of Power, issued an apology to Nigerians regarding the ongoing poor power supply affecting the nation. He assured citizens that measures would be implemented to address the situation and promised noticeable improvements in electricity supply within the coming week.

The apology follows widespread concerns about imminent blackouts in Nigeria, attributed to a reduction in the amount of gas supplied to thermal power plants across the country. The Nigerian Independent System Operator (NISO) confirmed that electricity generation in Nigeria's national grid has been adversely affected, with several power plants forced to shut down due to inadequate gas supply.

Current operational figures indicate that electricity generation is already below expected capacity, and persistent gas supply constraints are impacting multiple thermal power stations.
