Adeleke Receives Strong Ijesa North Support for Re-Election

Governor Ademola Adeleke expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from the Ijesa North constituency during a campaign event aimed at securing his re-election. He noted that the Osun Progress Congress (APC) has become increasingly unpopular among the people of Osun.

The event included the launch of a 10,000 canvass organization, led by candidate Pelumi Olajengbesi, which aimed to mobilize support for the governor. Adeleke commended the Ijesa people for their strong presence at the rally, which he interpreted as a sign of unity and resilience despite defections from lawmakers.

He warned that no amount of violence could alter the people's affection for his administration and urged them to vote massively in the upcoming elections. Sundai Bisi, chairman of the PDP in Osun State, assured that the people of Ijesa North would support Adeleke in the forthcoming elections, emphasizing their commitment to the governor's leadership.
