Adeleke's Campaign Council Affirms Financial Transparency

The campaign council for Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has publicly committed to financial transparency, countering opposition allegations regarding the current administration's fiscal management. Spokesman Pelumi Olajengbesi responded to concerns raised by opposition parties, asserting that the claims lack substantial evidence.

The council referenced a report from civic organization Budgit Nigeria, which awarded Osun State a 100% fiscal transparency score for the third quarter of 2025. Olajengbesi emphasized that this score reflects Adeleke's commitment to open financial accountability and is a result of deliberate reforms aimed at enhancing public trust.

He noted that the current administration's approach to managing public resources stands in stark contrast to previous governments, which were characterized by opacity. The statement also highlighted Adeleke's efforts to address pension obligations and improve worker welfare through social interventions, free healthcare, and infrastructure development, asserting that these initiatives are tangible realities for the people of Osun State.
