Osun Governor Adeleke Boosts Food Security with Free Rice Seeds Distribution

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke reaffirmed his administration's dedication to food security by commissioning the Farmers House for the Free Distribution of Agricultural Inputs to Rice Farmers in Osogbo. The event highlighted the government's commitment to ensuring food availability for the people of the state.

Over 300 rice farmers received free paddy rice seeds to enhance production. The initiative, supported by the Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), aims to boost agricultural output and guarantee food security in the state.

Commissioner of Agriculture, Otunba Babalola Faseru, selected and aggregated 300 farmers from across the state for the program. The endorsement of Governor Adeleke for a second term was also emphasized by AFAN representatives at the event.
