Adeleke Wins Four Local Governments in Osun Election

Governor Ademola Adeleke, representing the Accord Party, has secured victories in four local government areas—Ede South, Ifedayo, Ife Central, and Boluwaduro—during the Osun governorship election conducted on Saturday. The results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) indicate that Adeleke received a total of 26,188 votes, while the African Democratic Congress (ADC) garnered 390 votes and the All Progressives Congress (APC) received 6,219 votes in the first local government result.

In the second local government, Adeleke obtained 7,427 votes, ADC received 115 votes, and APC had 6,836 votes. The third local government results showed Adeleke with 21,171 votes, ADC with 747 votes, and APC with 15,913 votes.

In the fourth local government, Adeleke secured 7,118 votes, ADC received 179 votes, while APC's votes were not specified. The collation of results is currently underway at the INEC secretariat in Osogbo.
