Ademola Lookman Completes €40 Million Atletico Madrid Move After Medical

Ademola Lookman has undergone a medical examination in Spain as he nears a €40 million transfer from Atalanta to Atletico Madrid. The deal structure includes a €35 million fixed fee plus €5 million in performance-based add-ons.

Lookman, who is expected to leave Atalanta, has agreed to a four-year contract with Atletico worth €7 million per season, marking a significant salary increase. Fenerbahc had also shown interest in signing Lookman, but Atletico's €40 million offer sealed the deal.

Lookman, who began his professional career at Charlton Athletic, has had stints at Everton, RB Leipzig, and Fulham before joining Atalanta. His career flourished at Atalanta, where he scored 55 goals in 137 appearances, including a historic hat-trick in the 2024 Europa League final.
