Rabat Court Upholds Jail Terms for Senegalese Fans

A Rabat court has upheld the prison sentences for a group of Senegalese football fans who supported their national team, confirming an earlier ruling by a lower court. The judgment states that nine fans will serve a one-year prison term, while six others received six-month sentences.

Additionally, three fans were sentenced to three months in jail. The fines imposed during the initial trial remain in effect.

However, three of the convicted supporters are expected to be released on Saturday after completing their three-month sentences. The ruling marks the end of the legal process as the appeal court upheld the original sentences without making any changes.
