FFCN Mobilizes Support for Super Eagles in AFCON Qualifiers

The Football Fans Club of Nigeria (FFCN), under the leadership of National President Ambassador Oluwakemi Ogunfuwa, is intensifying efforts to mobilize supporters for the Super Eagles' opening matches in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers. The Super Eagles will face Madagascar on September 25, 2026, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, followed by a match against Guinea-Bissau on September 29, 2026.

Ogunfuwa, affectionately known as "Mama Nigeria," stated that the FFCN aims to ensure a strong presence of Nigerian supporters, both at home and during away games. She emphasized the need for the Super Eagles to feel the support of their fans, declaring that the organization is prepared to cheer for the team from the first whistle to the last.

Ogunfuwa's leadership has focused on fostering a patriotic supporters' culture, aiming to transform the stadium into a vibrant display of Nigerian colors and unity as the team embarks on its qualifying journey.
