Africa Magic Unveils Seven New Original Shows in October

Africa Magic, a prominent entertainment channel, is set to launch seven new original shows in October, featuring a range of genres such as drama, thriller, music, and reality competition. The lineup aims to showcase indigenous African storytelling, reflecting the culture and imagination of its viewers.

The new shows include "Low Priest," a supernatural thriller about two rivals entangled in desperate acts inside a sacrificial shrine, "Mother of the Bride," following a Lagos matriarch racing against time to marry off her daughters, and "Etiti," a tale of a fearless warrior trapped in a world of forbidden rituals. Additionally, three new indigenous shows are scheduled to debut, including "Kukoyi" on Africa Magic Yoruba, "Mgbuka" on Africa Magic Igbo, and "Sabon Tauraron Arewa" on Africa Magic Hausa.

Atinuk Babalola, the Executive Head of Content for the channel, highlighted the mission to provide fresh and exciting stories that resonate with African audiences.
