African Table Tennis Stars Compete for ITTF World Cup Spots in Libya

African table tennis players, led by top player Dotun Omisakin, are competing in the ITTF Africa Cup in Benghazi, Libya, to secure spots in the 2026 ITTF World Cup in Macao, China. The tournament, organized by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), will feature top athletes from North Africa aiming for podium finishes.

The semifinalists in the men's and women's singles events will automatically qualify for the World Cup next month. Wahid Enitan Oshodi, the President of ITTF Africa, praised the Libyan Table Tennis Federation (LTTA) for hosting the event and promoting the sport in the region.
