Oduah Enters Plea Bargain, Eyes Senate Seat in 2023

Stella Oduah, the former Minister of Aviation, has entered into a plea bargain arrangement with the Federal Government concerning allegations of a N2.4 billion fraud. She is currently standing trial alongside two others related to this case.

The plea bargain allows her to start refunding a certain amount to the Federal Government, although the specific amount has not been disclosed. Oduah, who previously represented Anambra North in the Senate after winning the 2019 election under the People's Democratic Party (PDP), has announced her intention to run for the Senate again.

She is reportedly planning to use the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as her platform for this bid, having previously considered running under APGA in 2023 but later rescinded her decision. Oduah is expected to face competition from notable figures within the party, including Primus Odili and Alex Obiogbolu, as she prepares for the upcoming elections.
