Bandits Strike Again in Kaduna, Abduct Six Residents, Prompting Security Concerns

In Kaduna State, bandits have once again targeted a community in the Kajuru Local Government Area, kidnapping six residents from Unguwar Barkonu, Maraban Kajuru. The attack, which occurred on a Sunday, saw armed men invade the area, break into several houses, and abduct the individuals.

Residents, including Steven Kefa, expressed frustration over the lack of a rapid security response. The Chairman of Kajuru Local Government Area, Rev. Enoch Kaura, confirmed the incident, highlighting the disturbing trend of attacks and abductions in the region.

Efforts to obtain an official reaction from the Kaduna State Police Command were unsuccessful. A special prayer session was held for the safe return of 177 previously abducted worshippers, drawing Christian leaders from across the state.

Calls have been made for intensified security efforts to secure the release of the abducted individuals and restore peace in the area.
