Bandits Abduct Six Residents in Fresh Kaduna Attack Amid Rising Security Concerns

In Kaduna State, Nigeria, bandits have struck again, abducting six residents in the Unguwar Barkonu area of Maraban Kajuru. The attack occurred in the early hours of Sunday in Kufana ward, shortly after a special prayer session by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for the safe return of 177 previously abducted worshippers.

The Chairman of Kajuru Local Government Area, Rev. Enoch Kaura, expressed frustration at the lack of rapid security response to the attacks, highlighting the recurring security challenges in the region.

The Kaduna State Police Command has not provided an official reaction to the incident, despite efforts to obtain a response. Meanwhile, a special prayer session was held at the Tawaliu Baptist Church in Maraban Kajuru for the safe return of the abducted worshippers, drawing Christian leaders from across Kaduna State.
