Africa Gaming Expo Honored at Eko Hotel's 50th Anniversary

The Africa Gaming Expo (AGE) was awarded the Appreciation and Legacy Award during the 50th anniversary celebration of Eko Hotel and Suites, highlighting its significant role in Lagos' conference and events economy. Since its first edition in 2024, AGE has established a strong presence at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre, attracting a diverse international audience and creating a commercial ecosystem that benefits local businesses.

The event serves as a meeting point for various stakeholders in the gaming industry, including regulators, operators, and investors. The Chairman of Eko Hotel, William Chagoury, acknowledged the importance of organizations like AGE in sustaining the hotel’s operations.

The expo not only fills hotel rooms but also generates demand for food, transportation, and other services, contributing to the local economy. The recognition of AGE at such an early stage in its development underscores its rapid growth and influence within the African gaming sector.
