Enugu Gaming Conference 2026 Celebrates Industry Achievements

The third edition of the Enugu Gaming Conference (EGC 2026) concluded with a Gala and Awards Ceremony, celebrating the contributions of various stakeholders in Nigeria's gaming industry. The conference, themed ‘Code, Capital and Compliance: Unlocking Nigeria’s iGaming Tech Opportunity’, provided a platform for industry discussions and culminated in an evening of entertainment featuring the Black Tops Band and comedian Martins Neboh.

Prince Arinze Arum, Executive Secretary of the Enugu State Gaming Commission, emphasized the awards' purpose to recognize the diverse pillars supporting the gaming ecosystem, including regulators, media, operators, and partners. The Enugu State Gaming Commission won the Regulatory Excellence and Compliance Award, a special category created to validate the Commission's work and highlight the importance of collaboration between regulators and industry participants.

Unlike previous editions, EGC 2026 featured only eight awards, reflecting a more selective approach to recognize critical roles within the industry.
