AIICO Insurance Celebrates Excellence at Annual Retreat

AIICO Insurance Plc expressed its determination to celebrate excellence at its annual agency retreat held in Ogun State. The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Babatunde Fajemirokun, emphasized the ongoing evolution of industry standards and significant regulatory shifts over the past two decades.

He noted AIICO's commitment to stronger compliance, risk-based capital, and digital alignment with the company's governance culture. The retreat featured an awards night recognizing outstanding performances, with Mr. Ego Uzochukwu emerging as the overall best-performing agency of the year, improving from second place the previous year.

He was followed by Mr. Henri Onwuchekwa and Mr. Lawson Njoku, who secured third place. The event celebrated the top 10 leaders who expertly managed and mentored their teams, delivering billions in gross written premium across the region, demonstrating AIICO's agency force's resilience despite macroeconomic challenges.
