Air Peace Chairman Blames South-East for Failed MRO Project

Allen Onyema, the chairman of Air Peace, criticized the South-East region for the collapse of a planned multi-billion naira MRO facility in Enugu, which was later relocated to Lagos. Onyema attributed the failure to internal conflicts, land ownership disputes, and selfish interests within the community.

He highlighted challenges faced in securing land for the project, pointing out conflicts arising from family claims and lack of support from local authorities. Onyema urged the Igbo community to introspect and take responsibility for hindering development in the region.
