Air Peace has denied false claims made by traditional ruler Igwe Emeka of Umueri community regarding a ₦100 million payment for land designated for an aircraft maintenance facility in Anambra State. The airline clarified that neither Dr.

Allen Onyema nor the company accused the community of any wrongdoing. The payment for the land was made directly to the Anambra State government, with official receipts issued to confirm the transaction.
