Air Peace and Etihad Airways Sign Connectivity Agreement

Air Peace and Etihad Airways have formalized an interline agreement aimed at expanding connectivity across Nigeria and West and Central Africa. Announced on Wednesday, the agreement enables Etihad Airways’ passengers to access 20 destinations in Nigeria and the region with a single ticket.

Air Peace customers will also be able to connect to Abu Dhabi using Etihad’s services from Lagos and Accra once the routes commence. The destinations include major Nigerian cities such as Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu, Benin City, Owerri, Warri, and Asaba, along with regional cities like Abidjan, Dakar, Banjul, Freetown, Monrovia, Conakry, Bamako, Douala, and Libreville.

Arik De, Chief Commercial and Revenue Officer of Etihad Airways, emphasized the long-term ambitions in Africa, highlighting Nigeria's central role. Nowel Ngala, Chief Commercial Officer of Air Peace, noted the partnership enhances travel convenience for both airlines' customers.

The agreement will allow combined journeys to be booked on both airlines’ platforms once effective.
