Air Peace Flight Returns to Abuja Due to Safety Issue

On a recent Saturday, Air Peace announced that a London-bound flight returning to Abuja was necessitated by a windshield crack, which was suspected to have been caused by a bird strike. The decision to return was made strictly in accordance with established aviation safety protocols.

The aircraft landed safely at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, where all passengers disembarked without incident. Following the return, the airline initiated a technical check on the aircraft in line with global aviation best practices to ensure passenger safety.

Air Peace provided affected passengers with options to travel the next day via its Lagos Gatwick route, with those choosing to fly being accommodated free of charge. Additionally, hotel accommodations were offered to passengers who required them.

The airline clarified that claims of passengers being abandoned were inaccurate and reiterated its commitment to maintaining strong relationships with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority and adhering to regulatory compliance.
