Ondo Governor Aiyedatiwa Appoints 32 Permanent Secretaries in Civil Service

The Governor of Ondo State, Aiyedatiwa, has authorized the appointment of 32 Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service. The announcement was made by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ebenez Adeniyan, on Monday.

Some of the appointed individuals include Tayo Ogundare, Morayo Bayo, Philip Adeyemi Sule, and others. The appointments, set to take effect from February 1, 2026, are part of the state government's ongoing efforts to improve the efficiency and service delivery of the civil service.

The statement also mentioned the confirmation of key statutory positions, such as Olusola Sunday Ajayi as the Statistician General and Dr. Charles Tunde Ojuolape as the Auditor General for Local Government.

These appointments are subject to clearance by the Ondo State House of Assembly. The move follows previous reforms and initiatives aimed at enhancing the state civil service.
