Ondo State Governor Aiyedatiwa Unveils AI System

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa launched an Artificial Intelligence-powered digital system for personnel administration, retirement, and pension processes in the state civil service, named “Ondo AI.” The launch took place at the Cocoa Conference Hall in Akure. Aiyedatiwa emphasized the need to transition from manual processes to digital administration, stating that a 21st-century public service cannot rely on analogue systems.

He highlighted the importance of accurate information for effective decision-making, urging public servants to embrace the new system despite potential challenges. Chief Segun Odusanya, the Head of Service, noted that the initiative aims to modernize personnel administration, improve management of personnel records, and support workforce planning.

The system will provide comprehensive records of civil servants, including appointment and promotion details, qualifications, and facilitate retirement processing and pension migration.
