Ondo State Launches AI-Enabled Payroll Platform Ondo Pay

The Ondo State Government officially launched Ondo Pay, an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled human resources and payroll platform, aimed at modernizing workforce administration and enhancing the experience of civil servants. The launch signifies a significant advancement in the administration's goal of creating a more innovative and data-driven public service.

Chief Segun Odusanya, the Head of Service of Ondo State, stated that the platform is crucial for effective governance, emphasizing that good governance relies on reliable records. Ondo Pay integrates employee records, salary computation, approvals, reporting, payroll processing, and pension migration into a secure environment.

The SmartApps AI mobile self-service application will allow employees to access payslips and update personal information without frequent visits to administrative offices. The system aims to reduce payroll errors and improve personnel expenditure control.

This initiative aligns with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa's reform agenda, positioning Ondo State as a leader in digital transformation and enhancing accountability and efficiency in public service delivery.
