Aiyedatiwa Reaffirms Zero Tolerance For Drug Trafficking, Cybercrime, Others

Ondo State Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, reiterated the government's zero-tolerance stance on drug trafficking, cybercrime, cultism, and kidnapping during a meeting with a United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) delegation led by Cheikh Toure. The governor emphasized that security and the rule of law are crucial to the state's development agenda.

Ondo State prioritizes security as the foundation of its administration, supporting security agencies with resources and intelligence to combat crime effectively. The state recently distributed 75 hybrid vehicles to security agents and provided significant aid to the NDLEA to tackle drug cultivation and trafficking.

Governor Aiyedatiwa also highlighted the "One Youth One Skill" program aimed at empowering young people with vocational skills to deter crime and promote peace and productivity.
