Super Eagles Face Jordan Without Key Defenders

The Super Eagles, under the guidance of coach Eric Chell, are set to compete against Jordan in a friendly match on Tuesday. However, they will be without two key defenders, Semi Ajayi and Igho Ogbu, who are both dealing with injuries.

Ajayi was substituted at halftime in the recent 2-1 victory over Iran at the Corendon Airline Stadium, but the reason for his substitution has not been disclosed. Ogbu started the match against Iran but was forced off in the 56th minute, with his injury severity yet to be revealed.

The Super Eagles' media team released a video showing the squad's recovery training on Saturday afternoon, where both Ajayi and Ogbu were notably absent. Their absence during the training session is described as a precautionary measure to prevent further injury.

The team is scheduled to train again on Monday ahead of the match against Jordan.
