Super Eagles Set for Friendly Against Jordan on March 31

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to play a friendly match against Jordan as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Coach Ric Chell has made six changes to the starting eleven due to injuries and absences.

Notably, goalkeeper Franci Uzoho will not participate due to a thigh injury sustained during training. He is replaced by Adebayo Adeleye.

The defensive lineup will feature Bright Osayi-Samuel and Zaidu Sanusi as full-backs, with Emmanuel Fernandez and Igho Ogbu in central defense. The midfield will consist of Frank Onyeka and Raphael Onyedika, while Akor Adam leads the attack, supported by forwards Ademola Lookman, Yira Sor, and Mose Simon, who will captain the side.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 PM at Corendon Airlines Park on March 31. Several players, including Calvin Bassey and Semi Ajayi, are unavailable, and Bruno Onyemaechi has left the camp following the birth of his daughter.
