NNPC Reports 90% Completion of AKK Pipeline Project, Expects Full Operation by 2026

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has announced that the AKK pipeline project is 90% completed, with mainline welding and pressure testing underway. The project, which involves the construction of a gas pipeline from Ajaokuta to Kaduna and Kano, is on track for completion by 2026.

NNPC also reported a profit of N502 billion in November, with a revenue of N4.358 trillion. Additionally, there has been an increase in crude oil production from 1.30 million barrels per day in October to 1.36 million barrels per day in November.

Ongoing construction work includes geotechnical data acquisition and drilling activities, with a focus on improving production performance and infrastructure uptime.
