Akpabio Attends Ezea's Burial, Pledges Family Support

On November 18, 2025, Godswill Akpabio, the President of the Senate of Nigeria, attended the burial of Senator Okechukwu Ezea in his hometown of Nsukka, Enugu State. During the funeral mass, Akpabio paid his last respects and addressed the children of the late senator, pledging ongoing support to Ezea's family.

He highlighted Ezea's role as a representative of the Enugu North Senatorial District in the 10th Senate and described him as a quiet man who achieved great things. Akpabio assured the family that he would continue to identify with them and watch over their progress as Ezea transitions to the spiritual realm.

He expressed hope that Ezea would raise great men and contribute to the development of not just the Nsukka community and Enugu State, but all of Nigeria.
