Okonkwo Calls for Akpabio's Resignation Over Alleged Bid to Make Tinubu Life President

Nollywood veteran and politician Okonkwo has demanded the immediate resignation of Senator Akpabio, accusing him of trying to establish Tinubu as a life president. Okonkwo made the statement on his social media account, describing Akpabio as an enemy of democracy.

The controversy stems from Akpabio's opposition to the mandatory transmission of election results electronically in Nigeria. Okonkwo, who is also a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), alleges that Akpabio is clandestinely working to make Tinubu succeed his wife and son as a life president.

He calls on Nigerians to push for Akpabio's removal from office.
