Yoruba Group Accuses Akpabio of Being a Stooge, Alleges Tinubu's Plot to Rig 2027 Elections

The Yoruba Union has launched a scathing attack on Senator Godswill Akpabio, labeling him a stooge and accusing Senator Bola Tinubu of plotting to rig the 2027 elections. The group openly criticized Akpabio for allegedly working to dismantle electoral safeguards meant to protect the sanctity of the ballot.

They condemned the Senate's rejection of mandatory real-time electronic transmission of election results, arguing that it could pave the way for electoral manipulation. The Union accused the Senate leadership of betraying the Nigerian people and prioritizing the selfish interests of a few political elites over the welfare of the citizens.

They also criticized Tinubu's leadership, citing rising poverty, insecurity, and lack of basic infrastructure despite his self-proclaimed democratic stance. The group urged Nigerians to remain vigilant and emphasized the importance of voting as a weapon for the common man.
