Northern Senators Celebrate Vice President Shettima's 60th

On Wednesday, the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, along with 58 serving Senators from Northern Nigeria, celebrated the 60th birthday of Vice President Kashim Shettima. In their goodwill messages, Akpabio commended Shettima for his distinguished public service, noting his journey from Commissioner to Governor, Senator, and now Vice President.

Akpabio emphasized Shettima's courage during his governance of Borno State amidst significant challenges, stating that he provided leadership during a tumultuous period marked by terrorism. He praised Shettima's current partnership with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The Northern Senators, led by their Chairman, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua, acknowledged Shettima's role as a national leader and his ability to balance his duties as a loyal supporter of the President while advocating for the North.
