Sanwo-Olu Celebrates Shettima's 60th Birthday

On September 2, 2023, Vice President Kashim Shettima celebrated his 60th birthday. Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu issued a statement on September 1, 2023, congratulating Shettima, describing him as a visionary and dedicated public servant committed to Nigeria's progress.

Sanwo-Olu commended Shettima for his contributions to the political and governance processes in Nigeria and praised his loyalty to President Bola Tinubu, noting that Shettima's efforts have supported the administration's Renewed Hope Agenda. The governor highlighted Shettima's extensive career, which included roles as a lecturer, banker, Commissioner, Governor of Borno State, and Senator for Borno Central before becoming Vice President on May 29, 2023.
