Akpabio Discusses Insecurity, FG's Global Collaboration

On Friday, during the inauguration of a subcommittee for the National Convention Plan Committee, Senate President Godswill Akpabio addressed the pressing issue of insecurity in Nigeria. He stated that the Federal Government is actively working with the international community to tackle security challenges and ensure national stability.

Akpabio noted that insecurity remains a top priority for the current administration and expressed satisfaction with the government's efforts thus far. He conveyed confidence that the administration will continue to implement policies aimed at restoring safety and security across the nation.

Additionally, Akpabio urged Nigerians to focus on strengthening the country's international capacity, especially in light of global economic and political uncertainties, including ongoing tensions such as the war in Ukraine and developments involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. He encouraged citizens to embrace local products and consumption as a means of supporting the economy.
