Akpabio Promises End to Insecurity in Easter Message

During an Easter message delivered at the Apostolic Church in Ikot Ekpen, Akwa Ibom State, Senate President Godswill Akpabio expressed optimism that Nigeria's ongoing insecurity issues would soon be resolved. He acknowledged the pain and grief experienced by families who have lost loved ones to violence, including the brave men and women in uniform who sacrificed their lives to defend the nation.

Akpabio drew a parallel between the resurrection of Christ and Nigeria's potential triumph over insecurity, stating that he firmly believes the nation will soon reach a victorious conclusion in its fight against insecurity. He urged Nigerians to reject hatred and division, emphasizing the importance of unity and solidarity in addressing the country's challenges.

Akpabio's message was delivered during a homily led by the church's superintendent, Dr. E.O.

Akpan, who also called for prayers for peace and development in Nigeria.
