Akpoti-Uduaghan Seeks Dismissal of FG's Charges in Court

Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, has approached the Federal High Court in Abuja to dismiss the six-count charges filed against the Federal Government. She argues that the charges are not in the public interest but are aimed at protecting private political interests.

Akpabio Bello, her lawyer, contends that the charges are contrary to constitutional provisions and an abuse of legal process. Akpoti-Uduaghan claims the charges were filed in bad faith and are rooted in personal political rivalries, offering no benefit to the Nigerian public.
